About Us

Having owned Les Ailes, our family holiday home since 1990, we have found this hide-away in SW France to be a wonderful antidote to London life.

The calm and peaceful atmosphere, the friendly and helpful locals and the opportunities to experience French rural life has been a hugely enjoyable adventure.

 

The spacious surroundings offer ample opportunity to enjoy family time together or to simply escape and relax in private.

In recent years, we have made many alterations to the original property, which was built in the 1960’s on the site of a farm, adding a pool, opening up the loft as a private suite, installing a new kitchen, utility room, and bathrooms, a new wood burner, double glazed windows and re-flooring the entire house...and we still haven’t finished!

 

Welcoming others to experience the unique and special atmosphere here gives us the opportunity to share what we feel every time we visit.
